Ken has considerable experience in the areas of Corporate & Commercial Law, Banking , Investments, Projects, International Corporate Financial Transactions, Mining Law and Compliance. Ken obtained his Solicitor and Barrister -at- Law professional qualification in 1984 in Ghana. He is also a Solicitor of England and Wales. Ken spent 13 years in the banking industry where he played key roles as in-house counsel advising on corporate legal matters, financial structuring and transactions , syndicated financing and investment. In 1996, Ken moved to the mining industry and played pivotal roles with respect to cross-border transactions, projects, project finance, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, stock exchange issues, dispute resolution and cross-boarder mining rights issues. Ken was Head of AngloGold Ashanti’s global compliance and ethics unit, based in Johannesburg, South Africa.
